What is computer processor?

A processor is the one who process something. If we talk about in the terms of computer then a processor is the hardware that takes instruction and execute it. It is known as the brain of the computer. It takes instruction from user by the help of peripharal devices like keyboard,  mouse and gives result to user.

Now a days so many kinds of proessor with varying speed are coming in the market. The speed of the processor can be measured in Hertz. Computer processors have normally one to two GHz speed. Processor for hanset devices are generally coming into the MHz. One MHz processor can execute one million instruction in a second. Computer processor is the most important part of the computer setup. The famous processor in the market are Dual core, core2duo, i3, i5, i7 and may others.
